One integrated system across three disciplines.

Strategy determines what the company must be known for. Execution builds and activates the systems that establish it. Measurement shows what changed and what to do next. Every capability below sits inside one of those three disciplines, and they are built to run together rather than be bought separately.

Strategy

Determine what the company must be known for.

We map audiences, questions, decisions and barriers, then set the priorities for activation.

01

Define What You Must Be Known For

We identify the business priorities communications has to support, the audiences and decisions you need to influence, and what the market must understand and believe before choosing you. Then we turn that into a practical plan for narrative, knowledge, evidence, authority, content, distribution and measurement.

outcome An activation-ready strategy aimed at business outcomes, not another messaging exercise.

02

Build Your Communications Architecture

The primary strategy deliverable: a market-facing blueprint in seven connected layers. It states what you must establish in the market, how you will establish it, and how progress gets measured.

outcome Not a static brand book. The working blueprint for what we create, activate and measure.

Execution

Build and activate the systems that establish it.

We create the narratives, knowledge, evidence, content and authority, then deploy them across earned, owned, social, search and AI.

03

Build the Narrative and Message System

We write the story the market needs to understand: enterprise narrative, corporate and product messaging, category definition, message libraries, executive platforms, stakeholder-specific narratives, and the crisis and issues language you hope never to use.

outcome Every program works from one strategic foundation while the message adapts to each audience and decision.

04

Structure What the Company Knows

We organize your identity, expertise, offerings and relationships into entities, topics and answers, so people and intelligent systems can retrieve and represent them accurately. AEO and GEO are capabilities here, not the whole offering.

outcome One consistent, machine-legible representation of the company wherever it is read.

05

Prove the Claims

We build the evidence that makes your position believable: proprietary research, customer proof, performance data, expert and analyst validation, certifications and benchmarks, and substantiation behind every priority claim.

outcome Messaging stops being assertion and starts being substantiated authority.

06

Earn Outside Validation

Companies cannot declare themselves credible. We earn the independent signals that support your position: media coverage, analyst relationships, expert citations, executive visibility and industry recognition.

outcome Third-party corroboration from the sources your market, and the machines, already trust.

07

Build the Content Supply Chain

We turn one strategic idea into a connected set of assets for different stakeholders, channels and systems. A supply chain, not a content calendar.

outcome Assets that compound, because each one is tied to a question, a decision and a business objective.

08

Be Trusted When Decisions Are Made

We place the narrative, evidence and authority into the environments that actually shape choices, planned around audience behavior and decision influence rather than channel activity.

outcome Coordinated presence everywhere the decision is actually formed.

09

Instrument and Automate the Function

We make communications faster and more connected by building the systems it runs on: workflows, AI agents and copilots, prompt and instruction libraries, research automation, monitoring, dashboards and integrations.

outcome A communications operation with the instrumentation every other business function already has.

Measurement

Determine what changed and what to do next.

We measure human and machine understanding, and connect communications to reputation, demand and risk.

10

Measure What the Market Understands

We track machine understanding, human understanding and market influence: the gap between how you describe your company and how machines describe it, whether your messages are comprehended and repeated, and who is leading the conversation.

outcome A continuous read on what people and intelligent systems actually understand about you.

11

Tie It to Revenue and Risk

We connect communications to the business and to its exposure: branded demand, communications-influenced pipeline and buyer confidence on one side; narrative velocity, misinformation and reputation risk on the other.

the program

From business mandate to market activation in about 90 days.

define

Phase 1: Define

We establish the business mandate and determine how the company is understood today across human and machine environments, including the Machine Representation Audit, Stakeholder Decision Map, Question and Intent Map and measurement baseline.

weeks 1–3
design

Phase 2: Design

We create the architecture connecting your market position to an actionable program: strategic territory, narrative and knowledge design, evidence and authority design, activation priorities and the measurement framework.

weeks 4–6
activate

Phase 3: Activate

We build and launch the highest-priority elements: narrative and messaging systems, knowledge and entity structure, evidence programs, earned-media and authority campaigns, content systems and the executive dashboard.

weeks 7–12

Start with the architecture.

Every engagement begins by establishing what your company must be known for and how it is understood today. After the initial 90 days, Actual runs focused quarterly cycles around your most important growth, reputation and risk priorities.

questions

The things leaders ask on the first call.

What is Computational Communications?
The discipline of designing how an organization is understood, evaluated, trusted, cited and recommended across human and machine mediated environments. Its unit of work is not the press release, article, keyword, prompt or citation. Its unit of work is understanding. The objective is an information environment in which your identity, expertise, evidence and strategic narrative are clear, connected, credible and retrievable wherever decisions are being formed.
How is this different from an AEO or GEO agency?
AEO and GEO help a company appear in an answer. Computational Communications designs the information environment from which the answer, and ultimately the decision, is formed. AEO and GEO are real capabilities and we run them, but they sit inside our knowledge and representation work rather than defining the offering.
Do I have to buy all eleven capabilities?
No. They are capabilities within three disciplines, not a menu of eleven products. Most companies start with the Computational Communications Program, which establishes the architecture and activates the highest-priority pieces. If you need to concentrate on one area, the five solution modules let you do that without losing the connection to the whole system.
Are you an agency, a consultancy or a measurement platform?
We combine all three functions and are defined by none of them. We provide senior communications strategy, integrated execution, and the data and technology to prove what changed. We help companies design and operate the communications systems required to succeed in the age of agentic awareness.
Do we have to replace our current agency or in-house team?
No. We provide the architecture and the connective system. In most engagements we make existing content, PR and digital investments work harder by aiming them at the questions, decisions and evidence that actually influence outcomes, and we plug into your team rather than around it.
How do you measure business impact?
Through a measurement chain: visibility, understanding, trust, recommendation, action, business value. We baseline machine and human understanding at the start, then track message pull-through, share of narrative, recommendation rate, communications-influenced pipeline and reputation risk against that baseline. Measurement is designed into the strategy from the beginning, not added after execution.
How fast does this move?
The initial program runs from business mandate to market activation in about 90 days: three weeks to define, three to design, six to activate. Authority and evidence then compound over quarters, which is the point. Systems that have earned trust are expensive for a competitor to displace.
What happens after the first 90 days?
Actual operates focused quarterly cycles around your most important growth, reputation or risk priorities: narrative and market sensing, integrated execution, authority development, representation improvement, risk monitoring and strategic recalibration. The relationship is organized around specific priorities and measurable outcomes, not an open-ended transformation timeline.
Do we have to buy software?
No. We design and run the workflows, agents, monitoring and dashboards as part of the program. You get the capability without standing up a data team or stitching tools together.
Who is this built for?
Companies where reputation, growth and risk are decided in public, and where communications is expected to influence buyers, support growth, advise executives, anticipate threats and prove business value. If the fit is wrong, we will tell you.
