Information we collect

When you contact us or request a consultation, you may provide your name, work email address, company, website URL, company revenue range, and information about what you want the market to understand about your company.

Our hosting and form providers may automatically process limited technical information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address, browser or device information, referring page, and request logs. We use country-level location supplied by our hosting provider to determine whether optional analytics is available; Actual Agency does not store that location lookup. If you use the theme or privacy controls, your preferences are stored locally in your browser.

Please do not submit sensitive personal information, such as government identification numbers, financial account details, health information, or passwords.

How we use information

We use information to:

• respond to your request and prepare or discuss a proposed engagement;
• communicate with you about services relevant to your inquiry;
• operate, protect, troubleshoot, and improve the website;
• prevent spam, fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and
• comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

How we share information

We may share information with service providers that help us host the website, process form submissions, manage business email, provide professional advice, or secure and maintain our systems. Our current website and inquiry workflow use Netlify and Google Workspace.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of business assets. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Analytics and your choices

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics worldwide to understand aggregate website traffic and performance, including page views, referring sources, approximate country, browser or device type, and page-load performance. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies and, according to Cloudflare, does not collect or use visitors’ personal data.

For visitors in the United States, we use Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors find and use the website, including pages viewed, referring sources, approximate location, and browser or device information. Google Analytics may use first-party cookies, including _ga, to distinguish users and sessions.

We use this information to measure website performance and improve our content and services. We do not use Google Analytics for personalized advertising or intentionally send information entered in our inquiry form to Google Analytics.

We do not load Google Analytics for visitors outside the United States, when a browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, or after a visitor disables analytics. You may change your preference using Privacy choices in the website footer. Disabling analytics does not affect the website’s core functionality. Retention and security

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to inquiries, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us to update or delete information you submitted, or ask us to stop contacting you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of certain personal information. We may need to verify your request and may retain information where permitted or required by law.

Children and international visitors

This business-to-business website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you visit from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. We will post the revised version here and update the effective date. If we make a material change to how previously collected information is used, we will provide notice as required by law.
